Hello

It has been awhile since i have posted here on my blog. And i apologize for that. I have been really busy lately doing some school upgrading.

For the past few weeks i have been attending school, updating all of my safety certificates, like my first aid, H2S Alive, confined space, transportation of dangerous goods, as well as i had to go renew 6 of my weld cetifications for my cwb and my api certification. Now all of these courses cost between $150- 500 each, so i was not a happy camper to recieve word once i had completed them, and reported for for work that the job i was to be working on was placed on hold for now. The only saving grace is that now i am up to date with my cetification, and i will not have to retake any of these courses for 2- 3 years.

Anyways thats what i have been up to lately. I guess what i am really getting at is that my experience with a J.O.B. here lately is just another reason for me to try to get my online income going, and get some serious income coming in, so that i don't have to rely on an unpredictable job for my living.

Make money the easy way

I have been out and about doing the family thing with my kids for the past few days. We are all getting in the christmas spirit, or at least trying to. I know that this time of year is one of the hardest on families, especialy if you are out of work (like i am), and the money is tight. But its not everything to have alot of money and give big expensive gifts. I know that this year my 9 year old son and i are having alot of fun, and alot of father/son bonding time together as him and i spend time in my woodworking shop building gifts for his two little sisters.

I have actualy been totaly amazed at how fulfiling it is as a dad, to be working with my son out of nessesity. I have been thinking of how much i would have missed out on (and my son as well) if we had alot of money this christmas. If money was not tight this year, we would have done like we always have. We would have given all 3 kids thier christmas gift money and let them purchase the gifts.

But this year things are different. Money is tight, so we are making our gifts. As we are doing this i keep thinking to myself, WOW i never really thought before about how much i have as a Dad, to teach my son. He has spent a little time with me in the woodworking shop in the past, but this year he is learning how to use all of the tools so that he can build the gifts on his own. It is the most awesome feeling to know that i (as dad) am teaching my son some very important lessons, that he will one day teach to his son.

One thing i found the other day was. I was talking to my nieghbor and he told me about a website that he uses to generate a small income online, he said that if you are serious and put the work into it, that you could make a fairly good income doing it.

You must also have a paypal account http://www.paypal.com/ this is also a free account. Once you have signed up for your free payzeno account, you can access thier list of affiliate templates. These affiliate templates give you a special affiliate link so that when a sale is made, payzeno knows who to pay the commission to.

These affiliate links can be posted on blogs, forums, if you have a website ect.

I thought that this might interest you readers, as it could be away of making a few extra dollars without having to spend ANY money.

How to optimize traffic with key words

One of the hardest things to get for any new blog or web page is traffic. Traffic is essential to to making money on your blog. The most important part to getting traffic is to use KEYWORDS. Key words are vital in that they are the words that people will type into a search engine, when they are looking for a certain product or service online.

Take for examle, go to google and in the search box type in 'make money blogging'. You will see the results of this search brings up 171,000,000 results for that search. That is some pretty stiff competition. Now the key to keywords is to add another word or two into your title or blog name that makes your blog special.

For example Try "make money blogging with adsense".  Ah ha the results are only 32 other sites. Much better odds of getting traffic then the one hundred seventy two million, the first search gave you. So as you can see KEYWORDS are very vital to making your blog profitable.

One site that i found that is very helpful in your search for keywords to use is.  http://www.wordstream.com/. The best part about this site is that it is FREE. When i was checking out this site, i did a keyword search on several different niche type keywords. And i found that not only did i find out how my keywords rank, but it also gave me anywhere from 203-381 different word combinations, and ideas for keywords. As well as told me how well each of these combinations would work on a search engine.

Using this keyword search can help you save alot of time and headache in finding the right keywords to use to optimize your blog on ALL of the major search engines. Not to mention the disapointment, and the feeling of failure as you try the trail & error method to get traffic to your blog.

So remember that KEYWORD OPTIMIZATION is the most effective way to get traffic to your blog. Because with the right keyword(s) you can be alone, or with very little competition in search engine results. This will result in more traffic on your blog.

Blogging with adsense

Today i was checking out a few fellow bloggers blogs. And one mans statement really stuck in my mind. I just had to share it with you. It goes totaly against the general idea of how to make money blogging.

In one paragraph of his blog he talked about how UGLY his blog looked. He said that his wife is always after him to make LOOK nicer.

His answer to her was WHY? 

He said I don't care how my blog looks. I am not blogging to find a following of readers. I am blogging to make money. If having an ugly blog will make more people click on my adsense adds to just get away from my blog, Then we both win. They get away from my blog, and i get paid for them clicking on an adsence add.


Now i am not suggesting that this attitude, or way of going about blogging is right. But you have to hand it to the guy for being straight up, and honest about why he is blogging.

After floating around online looking for some good money making opportunities for myself, i have found so many scams out there. And people who are not totaly honest and up front about thier products or goals. That to find a man that will just bluntly tell anyone reading his blog, that he doesn't care if they read it or not. All as he cares about is that they click on an add so he can make money, is kind of refreshing.

Honesty and integrity are sorely lacking nowadays, and i wish that everyone would be upfront about everything, But it has always been that there are disonest people out there, so we must do the best we can to protect ourselves from them. I must be honest, i would not mind making some (ok alot) of money off this blog. But i know that with my limited experience at blogging, that it will probably not happen.

So i am trying to focus on helping others by sharing some of my learning experiences, and hopefuly some of the people who read my blog can make it.

Oh and just so you know.  The man i was talking about above..... is averaging 5900 hits a day on his blog.

Make Your Blog a Money Machine

I must appologize for not posting any new tips or money making opportunities in past few days. I have been very busy working on my own web site, which i hope to have up and running very soon. As soon as i do i will leave the web address on here, so you can check it out.

3 Tips on Making Your Blog a Money Machine:

1) it is important to add an auto responder to your blog.
    - an opt in box gets you a name & email address that you can senp future opportuniteis to.
    - you must offer an incentive to your readers to explain WHY they should give you thier name and email.
    - the best incentives are to give away a free report, or to Join a news letter.
 
2) DO NOT use any common blog theme.
       - using a common blog theme makes your blog just one of the masses out there. It does not set you apart from the rest, so people will notice you and join your blog group.
       - make a unique banner for your blog. One that readers will notice and remember.
       - Make your blog different from the others. If your blog looks the same, and has the same content and style of presentation as all the other blogs out there. Then you are again just one of the masses. Try different things Pictures, banners, whatever you can think of to seperate yourself from the others.

3) STOP using blogger.com or any other free blog platform.
    - if you are trying to make money from blogging, then these free blog platforms ARE NOT the best to use.
     - the reason i say that is because when you are trying to run a profitable business from FREE service, it tends to undermine how Legit your business really is. Many people (myself included) tend to look at a business that tries to opperate for free as a scam. I tend to look at businesses that use free platforms as something that is not a good opportunity, if the marketer has to use a free platform to get his/her message out.
     - another reason you should not use a free platform is, the fact that your blog can be shut down by the platform provider at any time, for what ever reason. It would really suck if just about the time you had things really starting to roll, that the platform provider decided to shut you down, because they felt that what you are doing is violating the terms of use, or for any other reason they feel like.

So there you have it....

Make money with your blog, usinga data base.

Getting a data base on your blog is very important. Without a data base you have no way of really promoting any type of affiliate marketing products.

Once you have choosen your niche, you need a data base. What a data base really is, is a colection of names and emails of the people who are interested in your niche product. This allows you as an affliate to send NON SPAM emails about products and services that they might be interested in. These are cosidered NON SPAM emails because by entering thier Name and email into your Data Base, they have esentialy given you their permission to send them these emails.

Now although there are alot of free auto responders out there i would recomend Get Response. The hitch to this auto responder is that there is a small monthly fee to subscribe. But if you are serious about making money online blogging then the fee is deffinately worth it.

Ideas You Can Use To Capture Leads

1)Use a sqeeze page.
   - this is the most effective way to capture leads. Basicly a sqeeze page is an optin box where the contact enters thier name and email so that they can be automaticaly rerouted to your sales page for the given product that you are promoting. Essentialy what a sqeeze page does, is takes a contact directly to your sales page instead of a general search page, where they have multiple sites to choose from, that promote the product that you are promoting.

2) You can make a free gift, and give it away on your blog.
    - some examples are if they enter thier name and email they will recieve a free report. Or a weekly newsletter about the new products that you have found that they might be interested in.

3) You can do a survey.
    - by doing a survey you can find out more about your readers. Find out what they are looking for, what thier interests are. It is a good way to find out if what you are writing about is really what your readers are after, or if you need to change things up abit in order to really interest your readers in your blog.

Well that title says it all. I must believe that i am an expert in this field in order to make  the claim that i know the top money making niche products. As a matter of fact, i have spent many, many hours online researching the niche products i am about to tell you about, before i compiled this list.

The following list is what most if not all of the big money makers online are selling, whether it is just some, or all of these products, in some form or another.

Recommended Niche Products:

1) Internet Marketing Related Products.

2) Gambling related products.

3) Wieght loss related products.

4) Forex related products.

5) Real HYPED UP GET RICH QUICK products.

6) Investment related products.


Now all of these products are really hot sellers, BUT beware!!! The refund rate is fairly high as well. Most people looking to make money online today are looking for something that is not to complicated, Does not require alot of work, or investment capital. They also want to see imediate results.

Well for some of us,we know that to have all of the above things in one easy bundle is not realistic. I always say that  " anything worth having, is worth the work to get it". Although there are a few quick result opportunities out there, Remember that these opportunities WILL NOT create a substancial, long term income.

I was doing a search on ways to make money, when i came upon what i feel is a very good site. I feel that anyone who is at all interested in ebay should look at this site and learn how to make money on ebay. Make money blogging with affiliate marketing

It is a beautiful warm fall day here in Leduc Alberta. I have gotten my kids off to school. I have my coffee at hand, and now i am ready to sit down and write about some very important affiliated marketing tips.

Advanced Affiliated Marketing Tips:

1) Make sure that the products that you choose to market are related to what you write about on your blog.
    - this is a no brainer. If you are writing about making money blogging, You would not want to promote an affiliate that markets shoes.

2) Make sure the product you are selling has grav points. The higher the grav points, the easier the product is to sell online.
  - grav points are the ability of the product to draw people in to buy your product.

3) Make sure that the product you are selling online DOES NOT have to much ref %, as the more ref% there is means that there are alot of people already selling the product.
  - ref % means refference %. 


For example:
   Lets say you are looking to buy a certain type of nike shoes. You go to google and type in your search, and it comes up with 2,962,518 sites selling that particular type of nike shoes.

It is probably not the product you want to try to sell, because the ref% is way to high. In other words, there are already way to many people already selling that product. You would be competeing against to many other people, and your chances of success would be very low.

Another very important note is: once you have made up your mind which product to sell. It is very important to do some research and find out (test & make sure) that the affiliate owner actualy pays the sale when you promote the link.  This is important because there are so many scams out there. And these scams will use you for free advertising and promotion. So make sure before you waste time, energy anr/or money promoting a product.

Hello again, i have gotten a few more tips organized. I am making every effort as an expert in this to make all of these tips as easy and as simple as possible. It is my intention to make everything here as plain and easy to understand so that everyone who implements them can begin Making Money Blogging.

One thing every blogger most do is to begin a Joint Venture, with another successful online marketer.

As a blogger the best type of joint veture (jv) is what we call a cross joint veture. What i mean here is that you promote your jv partner on your site/blog, and he promotes you on his. Between the two of you in promoting each other you begin to send traffic te eachothers blogs. This increase in traffic due to your jv, has the potetial to create more income for you as you become more visible, and more respected in your chosen niche.

The Most Important fact in blogging is: CREDIBILITY

To get credibility you MOST do some if not all of the following things.

1) Find the niche you want to be an expert in.
   - once you have decided what your niche will be. Do alot of research on that particular niche. Read everything you can find about it, and become an expert on the ins & outs of your niche. Become so knowledgeable about your niche that everyone will know that you are an expert on the topic.

2) Start claiming that you are an expert in the niche.
   - you must be confident in your knowledge of the niche.
   - quote some tips, and results to prove that you ARE an expert.

3) Get started towards being an expert by posting articles on Article Directories.
   - this is impoprtant because when someone questions your claim of being an expert, you can send them to the article directories that you have posted on. And they can see the proof for themselves.
   - most article directory sites have a set number of article posts that you must post inorder to atain expert status. The more you research your niche and write about it. The better you become at being an expert, and making money in your niche.

4) Get more credibility by asking friends to endores your work.
   - the more people who say your are an expert in your niche, the more credibility you have.

5) Buy reviews from credible people.
   - if you have reviews from credible people, this proves that you are indeed an expert.

So remember  Be confident in yourself. Without confidence in yourself, you cannot gain anything in life. Believe that you are an expert, and as you research and learn you will become one.

You can become the expert blogger that everyone wants to talk to and learn from.

Makeing money online tips.

I don't know about you but i am finding it frusterating as all ever to trying to make money online. It seems that there is no end to the money making ideas out there. The trouble i am having is tying to find something that looks and feels legit. As well as seems to have the support that i need as a newbie.

I will be the first to admit that i do not understand alot of the jargon that alot of these internet money making guru's are using. Let alone know how to implement what they are talking about. There are so many sites online that will sell you a money making kit, but as i am kinda cheap, and a little leary about spending my hard earned money on something that i don't know anything about, i guess i won't be able to make it big time.

I think that what alot of us need (mainly myself), is to find someone who has been VERY successful online, to take under thier wing, take us(me) by the hand and be willing to help us. I have visited alot of different sites over the past few weeks, and when you read about how most of these guru's got started, thats how they got making money. They found the right person and worked with them to learn how to make it. I believe that i have found my mentor.

Selecting a Profitable Niche:
 The MOST important thing to remember is to always stay focused on your niche.  There is so much other stuff out there that can get our focus off of our niche, that we will send all of our time and energy running from here to there and never puting our energies on our goal.  Without staying focused, you will never make money online.

Here is a check list that i have found and compiled from tips from many different sites, about finding a profitable niche.

1) What is the future trend of the niche?
    - is the niche going to continue to grow? Is it going to continue to be in big demand?

2) What are the countries that have a big demand for this niche?
     - are there alot of countries with people looking into this niche market? if so, How many?

3) Are people willing to spend money in the niche. (very important)
    - without people being willing to spend money in the niche, you are wasting your time. You will never make money in the niche without people buying in that particular niche.

4) How much are they willing to spend?
   
5) How much demand in terms of HITS per month is there on Google?
    - recomend 10,000 plus

6) Are there already people selling products in your niche?
   - if so -> how many products are there, and what is their selling price.

Make money Blogging

I have spent the last few weeks searching the internet for ways to make money online. One of the ways i have found to do so is by blogging. So i thought i would write about some of the tips a tricks that i have learned about so far.

Top 10 mistakes made in Blogging:

1) Avoid black or dark backgrounds. A light or better yet a white background is best.
     - the reason for this is that when readers look at your blog if the background is dark, they have a tendency to think that youa as the blogger are bad or have something to hide.

2) Evenly space your article post with paragraphs.
    - Recomend that you start a new paragraph every 4 sentences. As this breaks up the article and makes it easier to read.

3) No affiliate programs or products being sold on the Blog.
   - i will get more into this later, but this affiliate thing is a deep subject as well as the largest money maker on the net.

4) Always use a .com to represent your blog.
     - not using a .com leads people to think that your blog is not profesional.

5) Post articles regularly.
   - recomend at least one blog post every 3 days (minimum)

6) Instal tracking software on your blog.
    - this is to find out what your visitors are looking at. and interested in. This will help you to post articles of interest to them.

7) Interact with your readers.
      - when someone posts a comment, make sure and thank them, and talk about what they have said and are interested in.

8) failure to collect leads on your blog.
    - when someone posts a comment, interact with them because they may have some useful info or tips that could net you alot of money.

9) failure to get your blog index on google.
   -without doing this search engines will not find you, and you will not get any traffic to your site.

10) Drive traffic to your blog.
     - Post articles that are informitive and of interest to your readers, so that by word of mouth and even by having other bloggers recomend your blog for certain information, can generate more trafic.
